BETAS stands for Breakout, Expansion, Trend, Auction, and Structure — the market behaviors and operating framework the strategy was built to evaluate. The name is not branding placed on top of the strategy; it comes from the strategy itself.

The proprietary strategy was shaped through years of iteration, historical testing, replay work, and execution-engine development before founder capital was put at risk.

These figures show the scale of the research behind BETAS before the modern live system was trusted with founder capital. They are development evidence, not a promise of future results.

How the proprietary strategy was developed

BETAS was not created from one backtest or one lucky idea. It was built through repeated strategy design, historical testing, rule changes, replay work, execution-engine development, and later live refinement. The documented lineage moves from early breakout and opening-range concepts through V7.1, V8.5, V10.x and into the auction-based architecture that became the V12–V14 family.

Research record

  • The recovered research archive supports a working total of more than 562 completed backtests across the development history.
  • Five explicitly recovered full-history strategy backtests alone produced 40,437 historical trade outcomes: V7.1 Current (5,318), ORB Close-Break + V7.1 (10,330), ORB First Entry + V7.1 (3,218), ORB Bar 1 + V7.1 Exit (13,028), and the later V10.2 baseline (8,543).
  • The core historical SPY dataset contained 186,475 five-minute rows across 3,224 trading days, spanning January 22, 2008 through May 6, 2021.
  • After duplicate exports were collapsed, the recovered archive supports more than 539 distinct strategy/result variants tested during development.
  • The later V10.2 baseline generated 8,543 historical trades across the full-history dataset.
  • Separate from the backtest count, a later milestone study ran 10,000 Monte Carlo-style simulation paths using the historical day and trade distributions to stress-test milestone behavior.

Documented strategy lineage

The recovered record includes named milestones from V7.1 and V8.5 through V10.x, V12.x, V13 and the V14 family. The exact rule set remains proprietary; the public record is intended to show the depth of iteration without publishing the strategy itself.

Why that research mattered

No single backtest “proved” BETAS. The cumulative research and engineering provided enough evidence to justify the next test: allowing the modern system to trade real founder capital and accepting whatever the live record showed.

July 27, 2026 is the beginning of the modern live BETAS record.

Years of development came first. V12.4 marks the point where that research was consolidated into the system BETAS recognizes as the start of its current live lineage — and the point from which public live performance is measured.

What live trading has tested

  • July 27, 2026 — Modern BETAS begins. V12.4 became the reference point for the created algorithm and the start date used for live performance history.
  • August 6, 2026 — First documented 100%+ gain from inception. Starting from approximately $2,345.24 on July 27, documented equity had reached roughly $4,750, crossing the point where the live account had more than doubled.
  • August 24–26, 2026 — First major live drawdown. Morning equity of $6,732.15 on August 24 was followed by a sharp decline; by August 26 morning equity was $4,182.07, a roughly 37.9% peak-to-observed-morning drawdown. This became the first major real-money stress test of the system.
  • September 3, 2026 — V14 validates the 110% daily protection concept live. Morning equity was $4,366.71; intraday equity reached $5,023.21 (+15.03%) and the owner protection logic was active during the session.
  • September 10, 2026 — Recovery back into the $6,500+ range. The live account had recovered from the August drawdown and returned to the prior high-equity zone, demonstrating that BETAS could survive a substantial setback and rebuild rather than ending its live validation there.
  • September 2026 — The live lineage reaches V14.7. The original V12.4 architecture had evolved through V12.5, V13 and V14 while adding stronger execution controls, recovery behavior, live reporting, cloud publishing, mobile monitoring and owner safeguards.

What this phase proved

The live record has tested more than profitability: real brokerage execution, actual fills, drawdowns, recovery, state persistence, broker reconciliation, system interruptions, monitoring, account safeguards, and the discipline to keep the record intact when results were uncomfortable.

TODAY

BETAS Became a Platform

The strategy evolved into a complete operating system: decision engine, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, controls, reporting, mobile access, and multi-account Autopilot.

As BETAS matured, the strategy became only one part of the system. Autopilot was built as the execution layer that can carry one approved BETAS decision into multiple independent accounts.

BETAS remains the decision engine. Autopilot handles account-by-account execution, applying the correct sizing and restrictions while maintaining synchronization, account state, recovery logic, monitoring, and account-specific operating limits.

Autopilot — the scaling layer

Autopilot separates strategy decisions from account execution. One BETAS signal can be translated into the appropriate action for each connected account without changing the underlying strategy.

  • Signal distribution: one BETAS trade decision can be executed across multiple independent prop accounts.
  • Account-specific sizing: each account can use its own contract limits without changing the underlying BETAS strategy.
  • State synchronization: Autopilot tracks whether each account is flat, entering, in-position, or exiting so accounts do not drift apart.
  • Restart and recovery: the system can reconnect after interruption, determine current account state, and avoid duplicate entries.
  • Shadow execution: designated accounts can follow BETAS entries without allowing unrelated manual positions to interfere with Autopilot state.
  • Owner safeguards: health monitoring, offline/error alerts, emergency flatten capability, and controlled execution reset are built into the operating layer.

What the platform is proving now

  • By September 2026, Autopilot was operating orders-enabled across four prop-firm accounts.
  • Prop Firm A is the first live multi-account proving ground, including active 50K- and 150K-class evaluation accounts.
  • The current architecture supports different contract sizing on different accounts while keeping the underlying BETAS entry and exit logic unchanged.
  • Execution rules such as daily loss limits, consistency requirements, contract caps, and account restrictions are handled as account-level constraints around BETAS rather than modifications to the strategy itself.
  • The objective of this phase is to produce repeated evaluation success, funded-account reliability, and payout history before introducing outside client capital.

Continue the current 50K- and 150K-class evaluations until BETAS produces the first real payout through Autopilot.

Use payouts to fund three additional 150K Prop Firm A accounts

The first payout cycle is intended to finance the next expansion rather than pull capital from the core BETAS trading account.

Scale Prop Firm A into a larger synchronized account group

Autopilot then proves that one BETAS signal can remain reliable across a broader group of funded accounts with different account states and limits.

Expand into Prop Firm B

After Prop Firm A is producing repeatable payouts, BETAS begins a second prop-firm integration to diversify firm-specific risk and validate Autopilot across a different rule set and execution environment.

The sequence is intentional: prove → get paid → reinvest payouts → scale → diversify. BETAS does not move to the next prop firm simply to increase account count; each expansion step is funded and justified by results from the prior step.

What BETAS is proving today

The current stage is testing whether BETAS can scale operationally without changing the discipline of the strategy. The system has to coordinate independent accounts, different sizing profiles, outside account rules, synchronization, interruptions, recovery, monitoring, and reporting before trusted external users are added.

The Family & Friends Autopilot Beta

The next validation step is deliberately small: prove onboarding, reporting, billing, account separation, support, and the client experience with trusted external users.

Family & Friends is the first deliberately limited external-user beta. The purpose is not simply to add capital; it is to prove the entire client operating model — onboarding, account separation, monthly performance tracking, fee assessment, dashboards, notifications, support, safety controls, and reporting — with people who understand they are participating in a beta.

What must be true before BETAS moves on

BETAS must be able to support routine client operation through a stable, repeatable process rather than depending on constant direct founder intervention.

PURPOSE

Success With a Purpose

BETAS Helps is the impact side of the mission — using part of the value created by the company to expand opportunity, education, stability, and financial capability for other families.

The mission does not end with client accounts. BETAS Helps is intended to become the impact arm of the ecosystem, using part of the company’s success to create durable opportunity through education, financial literacy, practical support, and programs aimed at stronger long-term outcomes.

From Private Technology to Commercial BETAS

Commercialization comes only after the strategy, technology, account architecture, reporting, billing, legal/compliance work, privacy, support, and operating controls are ready.

A profitable strategy alone is not enough to become a real financial technology company. Commercial BETAS requires scalable account architecture, billing, authentication, legal and compliance review, privacy controls, support, incident response, production monitoring, and clear standards for transparent performance reporting.
